In this endearing classic, the Cuthberts request an orphan boy to work on their farm but instead are mistakenly sent a high-spirited, fiery red-headed girl.  Outspoken and direct Anne experiences trials, tribulations and funny mishaps.  Soon the Cuthberts realize she is the best thing that has happened to them and Anne relizes that she is a loved, worthwhile person.
